Mix the Dots is created by me, Delia Slucutt (Sluky for short!). I got hooked on training at age 24 while volunteering and have been coordinating, creating and delivering training ever since.
I’ve worked for two national universities and three national education charities in my career. At this point my work has touched thousands of learners.
I’m loving using this experience to build Mix the Dots. Putting in action what I’ve observed to be effective with an added layer of fun and sparkle.
Building sustainability practices
Sustainability is a big part of craft and Mix the Dots is no exception. We:
Use solvent-free glues from potato starch
Reuse existing materials where possible
Use art recycling centres
Purchase quality workshop items to avoid replacement
The work of sustainability is never done! All suggestions are so welcome as we all go on this journey of thinking about our impact.
